I-502 Requirements
Some of the state requirements include the following:
- The video system is required to be IP compatible and a recording system for controlled areas within the licensed premises and entire perimeter fencing and gates enclosing an outdoor grow operation, to ensure control of the gates enclosing an outdoor grow operation, to ensure control of the area.
- All cameras must continuously record 24 hours a day. The recordings must be kept for a minimum of 45 days.
- All recorded images must clearly display the time and date.
- Fixed cameras must be placed to look at all controlled access areas, security rooms, all points of ingress and egress on interior and exterior doors to the licensed premise, all point of sales areas capable of identifying activity occurring within a minimum of twenty feet of all entry and exit points.
- The cameras must work in low light conditions.
- The system recording device (DVR or Server) must be secured on-site in a lock box, cabinet, closet or secured in another manner to protect from employee tampering or criminal theft.
- All perimeter fencing and gates enclosing an outdoor grow operation must have cameras identifying any activity within twenty feet of the exterior of the perimeter fence. Lighting must be installed to illuminate the gate area for the cameras.
- In rooms where Marijuana is grown, cured or manufactured, or waste destroyed, shall have a camera facing the primary entry door. The others cameras in the room need to be placed in adequate fixed positions, at a height they cannot be blocked by anything. They must allow a clear, unobstructed view of the regular activity without blockage, for clear identification of persons and activities at all times.
